This is fascinating. This man wrote a thesis about how unlikely it is that Jesus was actually crucified. It had the paradoxical effect of increasing my respect for the Bible, possibly because it gave it a sense of flawed reality. I like the idea that the Bible doesn’t fit into a neat package, it feels much more believable that way.
What do you think? Could your faith (or lack thereof) go on without a cross as Jesus’ execution method?
